"Hey, I've got a great idea! Let's get rid of poverty AND fun in Rexburg, Idaho!"
Those were probably the words spoken in the city council when they decided to outlaw hobos and snowballs. The "why" is beyond me. I figure, if a homeless guy wants to live here, let him. Instead if they find anybody matching the description of a hobo they are shipped off to Idaho Falls to be homeless there. Maybe the thought process was, "If we take our poverty and dump it in Idaho Falls, we'll be a better/safer town."
Incredible....
What shocks me even more is the rule against snowball throwing. Are you kidding me?! In a town that usually sees more snow than Alaska, why on earth would outlaw snowball fighting? Are they afraid someone will get hurt? You know what I found when I typed in "people who have died from snowballs" into google? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. When I was a kid, all I could think about during winter was snowball fights with friends and family.
My solution: I'm going to dress up like a hobo with some friends and have snowball fights in front of city hall... that'll show 'em.

P.S. I stand corrected on one point, there are 2 cases of people that have died in the past hundred years and they were both in Boston on the same day. "The Boston Snowball Massacre." BWAHAHA!
